Graduate student Caitlin Bannan wins prestigious awards

Please join us in congratulating Caitlin Bannan from the Mobley Lab at UCI, who recently won the following prestigious awards: Penny J. Gilmer Grant for Women Graduate Students and Post-docs from OpenEye Scientific Software and the WCC Merck Research Award from the American Chemical Society.

About Caitlin Bannan

Caitlin joined the Mobley Lab in Winter 2015. She received her B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Washington (UW) in 2012. At UW she worked for Professor Munira Khalil on the synthesis of mixed-valence metal complexes for use in two-dimensional IR spectroscopy. Her early graduate work focused on alchemical free energy calculations to compute partition coefficients.
