Dr. Keri Hurley Selected for Designated Fellow of California Pharmacists Association (CPhA) Award

Dr. Keri Hurley has been chosen by the California Pharmacists Association (CPhA) as a recipient of their Designated Fellow Award!

“Being recognized as a fellow of the California Pharmacists Association (CPhA) is an honor. It signifies that you have made significant contributions to CPhA and to the profession of pharmacy that go far beyond regular pharmacy practice,” states the CPhA website.

“Dr. Hurley has established herself as an expert in immunizations and pharmacist-provided care and worked to advance the health of Californians. She is a proven clinician, scholar, and educator and will be an asset to the ranks of CPhA fellows,” said Dr. Sarah McBane, Founding Associate Dean for Pharmacy Education, who nominated Dr. Hurley and received the award herself in 2017.

“CPhA plays an instrumental role in advancing and protecting the pharmacy profession in California and helping to ensure that patients and communities have access to high-quality pharmacy care. These aims are parallel to my goals in teaching, clinical practice, and research. I could not be prouder to be a member of CPhA,” Dr. Hurley shared. “It is an honor to be among the Fellows of CPhA, some of whom are key mentors who have supported me throughout my career.”

Dr. Hurley and other CPhA award recipients will be honored at the CPhA Awards Ceremony, which will be held at the 2024 Western Pharmacy Exchange conference.

Congratulations to Dr. Hurley and all of this year’s CPhA award recipients!
