Clinical Pharmacy Practice Welcomes Four New Faculty Members

Keri Hurley-Kim, Pharm.D., MPH, BCACP

Dr. Keri Hurley-Kim received her Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Public Health degrees from Touro University. She also completed a PGY1 community pharmacy practice residency at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Pharmacy. Dr. Hurley-Kim practices in independent and institutional outpatient pharmacies as well as ambulatory care. Dr. Hurley-Kim’s areas of interest include immunizations, HIV, travel health, and tobacco cessation.

Cheryl Wisseh, Pharm.D., MPH

Dr. Cheryl Wisseh earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of North Carolina, Eshelman School of Pharmacy and her Master of Public Health in Urban Health Disparities at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. She completed a PGY1 community pharmacy residency with a focus in ambulatory care at Duquesne University. Dr. Wisseh is currently completing a research fellowship at Charles R. Drew University, and she is a clinical pharmacist at To Help Everyone health and Wellness Center (T.H.E). She is very passionate about health equity and the elimination of health care disparities and in underserved and minority communities.

Lee Nguyen, Pharm.D., APh, BCPS-AQ ID, BCIDP

Dr. Nguyen earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree and completed his PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at the University of California, San Francisco, and his specialty training in infectious Diseases at huntington Memorial hospital and the University of Southern California. Dr. Nguyen’s clinical practice site is at St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton where he developed the antimicrobial stewardship program. His research interests include best practices in antimicrobial sterwardship and outcomes research related to heath policy and direct patient care.

Christine Cadiz, Pharm.D., MA, BCPS

Dr. Cadiz earned her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of California, San Diego and completed her PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Cadiz is also an alumna earning her Master of Arts in Teaching from UCI. Dr. Cadiz currently practices as a transition of care pharmacist at Palomar Medical Center in San Diego, CA. She is passionate about providing excellent care for her patients and preparing learners to be impactful clinicians.
