On February 9, over 40 guests joined us for Vertex Day, a research symposium featuring graduate students and postdocs from the departments of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Chemistry. As part of the Vertex Day tradition, a student, William Howitz, was selected as this year’s Vertex Scholar.
About Vertex Day Vertex Day at UCI is a one-day annual event made possible courtesy of Vertex Pharmaceuticals. It features short oral presentations by graduate students and postdocs from the Departments of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Chemistry to showcase aspects of their current research to an audience of students, faculty, and Vertex Scientists.
