“DEL Platform For Early Drug Discovery”
Ying Zhang | X-Chem
The DNA-encoded library (DEL) discovery platform has become one of the major workstreams for hit identification in recent years. This affinity-mediated screening technology enables simultaneous interrogation of target proteins in parallel, resulting in hits and leads with desired selectivity profiles and pharmacological properties. Furthermore, screening ultra-large compound libraries of extended chemical space provides DEL-derived ligands with unique and unprecedented binding modes. The platform is applicable to other discovery modalities such as targeted protein degradation and has expanded to drug discovery of bRo5 chemical space.
