Strategic Plan for UCI Pharmacy
Leaders of the UCI School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences and
the Department of Pharmaceutical Services at UCI Medical Center met
on three separate occasions, between January and May 2021, to discuss
the strategic directions of the two units. This document summarizes the
strategic initiatives these two units will be working on jointly between 2021
and 2023. For each initiative, an action plan is provided with proposed
outcomes and a completion timeline. These action plans formed the basis
of longer-term strategic planning between the two units. In 2023, leaders
re-evaluated the strategic plan and designed initiatives to foster growth and
support academic and clinical pharmacy excellence through 2027.
