Tutoring Resources for PharmSci Majors
PUPS strives to foster an environment where students can thrive academically through our tutoring services and academic resources. We emphasize growth, encourage inclusivity, and provide a safe space for students to build relationship with mentors through our mentorship program.
Take advantage of free services including weekly tutoring sessions and exam reviews. Everyone is welcome any time, no prior attendance or sign ups necessary. Each of our friendly tutors creates worksheets for you to practice the week’s lecture material during their tutoring sessions.
The General Chemistry Peer Tutoring program is a resource designed to help you succeed in your General Chemistry courses. The best part about it? It’s completely free! All of our tutors are well-qualified and have scored at least an A- in their General Chemistry courses.
Our services include:
- Weekly office hours for tutoring and any questions you may have

- Midterm and Final Review Sessions to prepare you for your exams
Feel free to swing by whenever you’re struggling in Chemistry and we’ll help you out! Good luck in all your endeavors and study hard! Tutoring will take place at Rowland Hall in Room 517. Just head on over to Rowland Hall and head up to the 5th floor, make 2 rights, go down the hall, and you’ll be able to find us there! Answer keys to worksheets will not be posted online, as tutors will be going over their worksheets during office hours.
Welcome to the home of the Organic Chemistry Peer Tutoring Department at UCI. The Organic Chemistry Peer Tutoring Department strives to provide FREE high-quality tutoring to students taking the 51A-B-C Organic Chemistry series as well as 51LB and 51LC! Every week, tutors provide worksheets and hold office hours tailored for the class they are tutoring for and also hold midterm and final review sessions. Tutors are highly qualified, motivated upper division students who were selected out of a very competitive applicant pool. Feel free to stop by our office hours and get to know us! Office hours are held in RH 523.
The Physics Department offers free drop-in tutoring for Physics courses. Tutoring is held in MSTB 110 and is staffed Physics graduate teaching assistants. The Tutoring Center provides tutoring for Physics 3A-B-C, and 2, 7C-D-E.
The Mathematics Department offers a free drop-in Tutoring Center for mathematics courses. The tutoring center in RH 592 & 594 is staffed by mathematics graduate teaching assistants. The Tutoring Center provides tutoring for Math 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 5A, 5B only. The Center in RH 248, 250 A & B may provide office hours for Math 2D, 2E, 3A, 3D, 4, 6G, 9, 13, Math 105 thru Math 173, 205 & 206. Please contact the TA for their specific hours. Students in all courses may also attend their Instructors office hours. Tutoring Center assistance is not a replacement for attending lecture and discussion sections for your course.
LARC’s mission is to create independent, confident learners by connecting successful students trained as facilitators with peers enrolled in historically challenging courses, and by providing creative study strategies and encouraging active involvement in the enthusiastic pursuit of academic success. LARC connects “what to learn” with “how to learn” in a student-centered, collaborative learning experience.
The LARC office is located on the second floor of Rowland Hall, RH 282. The LARC office is open M-F 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
