PharmSci Graduate Students Awarded Faculty Mentor & Graduate Dean’s Dissertation Awards

Congratulations are in order to two of PharmSci’s PhD students Jenaro Soto (Melanie Cocco’s lab) and Luiz Moreira Passalacqua (Andrej Luptak’s lab).

Jenaro Soto was named the 2019 Faculty Mentor Program (FMP) Awardee. The FMP fellowship caters to PhD students and expects fellows to participate in meaningful resarch during the fall quarter of their award year and develop an independent project for the winter and spring quarters.

Luiz was awarded the 2019 Graduate Dean’s Dissertation Fellowship. This fellowship was created for students nearing the completion of their dissertations/thesis and aims to increase dissertation and thesis completion amongst doctoral and MFA Students.

The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences would like to congratulate both Jenaro and Luiz on their accomplishments.
