Join our schools for a free event that offers an opportunity for phronetic insight; in this instance, heal by doing; and the doing is Dance. The attention to breath with rhythmicity, sensory attunement and cognitive focus will bring you back into balance. Your neurochemistry will recode as you create.
In this 90-minute event, S. Ama Wray, PhD, Professor of Dance in the Claire Trevor School of the Arts, will introduce the concepts grounding Embodiology® and will ask the community to participate in movement puzzles that the whole body resolves. A short performance will follow, and audience participation is welcomed. Amal Alachkar, PhD, Associate Professor of Teaching in the School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences, will moderate the discussion.
