Today we are highlighting Karolina Kapustova who graduated from UCI in 2017. She is originally from the Czech Republic, born in Finland, and now lives in LA! Currently she is a fourth-year pharmacy student getting her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Southern California. She also works as an intern pharmacist at Keck Hospital. 🏥 She has sought to encourage and support novel student opportunities to demonstrate creativity, professionalism, and forward thinking. She is inspired by the courageous women in her life such as her mom, teachers, and mentors. Her mom inspired her by pursuing her dream to become a marriage and family therapist and earning her masters degree at the age of 50! Her favorite memory was serving on the @pps_at_uci board as the Secretary and Vice President. 👏 She felt a strong connection to UCI on this board and was able to leave her mark on the community. Karolina leaves us with a message to be more confident in your experiences, creativity? work-ethic, and character. “You have the power and innovative mindset to propose, create, and implement programs that you wish to see or learn from!” 🤩
